Our babies were born with Clubfoot the most common
musculoskeletal birth defect in the world.
Clubfoot affects 1 in 750 babies worldwide and there is no cure. The Ponseti Method, currently the growing
standard of care throughout the world, leaves many babies with feet further
deformed by poor application of the method and a high rate of recurrence even in the best
of cases. For us as clubfoot parents;
options in treatment and braces are crucial. Clubfoot Bracing: DTKAFO Journeys
shares our experience with the Dynamic Torsion Knee Ankle Foot Orthotic and the
success it has provided our children in preventing recurrence of the birth
defect. Here are our stories.
